National Sanctity
of Human Life Day
January 22, 2026​

The National Sanctity of Human Life Day first began as a proclamation from then-President Ronald Reagan in 1987. Since then, it has been celebrated annually, typically on the Sunday that falls closest to January 22.

How does HCPCC celebrate? With our supporting churches. Some churches ask a representative of HCPCC to come speak. Other churches participate in the January Baby Bottle Boomerang, which typically starts on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

Deliver Love This Valentine’s Day
Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver flowers and support Hill Country families. Routes take about 60–90 minutes, and every delivery makes a difference.

Not driving? You can still help by ordering flowers from An Empty Vase or The Flower Shop, supporting small businesses and HCPCC.
ANNUAL EVENTS
BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG
Your loose change can change a baby’s life! Our Baby Bottle Boomerang is a simple, family focused, community and church-wide effort to support the mission of HCPCC. Fill one of our bottles with change, dollar bills, checks (or a combination). Many churches participate during January (honoring the Sanctity of Life Sunday) or between Mother’s and Father’s Day, but bottles can be filled anytime. Please contact us to learn how your church can get bottles for distribution, or where you can pick one up for your family!
FLOWER DELIVERY
Each year, we partner with local floral shops on the largest flower delivery weekends of the year, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day! HCPCC Volunteers deliver floral arrangements on behalf of the flower shops and they, in turn, give the delivery fees to support our mission! BASEBALL FOR BABIES
Batters' up!
Baseball for Babies is a pledge-based fundraiser. Batters aged 5-18 will sign up for a slot in a batting cage. Then they'll collect as many pledges as they can from friends and family members. At the event, they'll hit as many pitches as they can to raise money for babies! Save the date for March 28, 2026!
BIRDS & BEES COMMUNITY PARENTING CLASS
Tackle "the talk" with HCPCC.
HCPCC wants to empower ALL parents and one of the most awkward parenting roles is "the talk". We utilize a parenting curriculum specifically geared toward teaching parents how to make these conversations less awkward and more effective, all based on their families' beliefs! Our group course is available for free to your church or parenting group! Contact us for more information.

GALA
Every September, HCPCC hosts an elegant gala featuring a guest speaker, a delicious meal, and the premier of our annual baby calendar. There is no cost to attend and tables fill up quickly! If you want to see our 2025 Gala video featuring real client stories, please visit www.hcpccgala.org.
